I drove home from work today
looked around
and saw
The kaleidoscope of colors that is Autumn in Minnesota
This is what I was worried about missing while I was in a land faraway
This is also why I work in a land far away
from my home in the cities
After a painful return to the U.S. it's slowly coming back to me why this is home...
...for now
More colors than I can even begin to name
And all the while Nick Drake plays to me gently
telling me that life is beautiful here as well
